True Story

this happened earlier this evening. Josh had just found a rubbermaid of forgotten food and sat down next to me to eat it... 




Husband: We need to get better about not forgetting food in the fridge

Me: Yeah, sorry about that...


Husband: I think we should do refrigerator drills

Me: what?

Husband: Yeah, I'll hide food that needs to be eaten in the fridge and you have to go find it!

no, this is not going to become the "cool videos Alyssa found on Youtube" blog....

We think this one is SO COOL! So cool in fact that we are thinking about learning the choreography.
Maybe, not sure we could actually pull it off. I mean really. How cool are they?

P.S. as I was writing this post I look over the computer and see Husband dancing and singing to this. I'm thinking we're going to learn this tonight (:

Because I think I said "this is so adorable!" 409,787,263,849 times while watching this the first time I watched it. And now one of my favorite things to do is watch this and dream of doing this with little Josh's and Alyssa's (:

So Excited!

Just booked a flight to see this amazing friend and her newborn baby girl! YAAYYY! oh goodness. Cannot contain the excitement. Still cannot believe this girl is a MOMMY. Where does the time go... So excited for some baby cuddling, giggles over husbands, and just sweet times with this dear sister.
 3 weeks! cannot wait.

Hi! Hi! Hi!

Happy Memorial Day! hope your day was full of rest and fun! We are so grateful for the men and women who have and are serving to keep us safe. Especially for this man :) love you Daddy. Thank you for working so tirelessly and the many, many sacrifices you have made to guard and protect us. My respect and admiration for you only grows with each year. Thank you for serving our country and family so very well.

I want to do this every night for the rest of my life

Thursday night we had a little picnic at the beach after work. It was delightful. I have dreams of doing this often in the coming summer nights. Husband, cool breezes, admiring the beauty we have the privilege of living in and lots of cuddles while eating popsicles <sigh> this is going to be a great summer!
